Trustworthy Mechanic Near Fort Mill, SC?

My sister and brother-in-law live near Fort Mill, SC. They are not happy with whoever is the dealership that is close to their house. Every time that the car was serviced, they were told to come and pick up the car and what was supposed to be done wasn't. The last straw was the oil cap wasn't replaced at all after an oil change and partway home, the warning light came on and the car filled with smoke and they realized that the smell was burning oil. The dealership did clean the engine compartment and replaced the hood insulator. Anyway, now that their car is no longer under warranty, they will need someone that is trustworthy that knows Nissans and Infinitis. Any suggestions?

Always good to find a good mechanic instead of getting ripped off by the dealership... They try to say they have better mechanics so they can charge a surplus, but I've rarely ever had decent work done on any cars at the dealership... Good luck in finding one! You will probably have better luck looking on NISSAN forums as their aren't as many active members here anymore, and if the mechanic is used to working on NISSAN's, they can work on INFINITI's too... The Z is based on the same platform as the FX, so that's a start...

In my experience, finding somebody local who relies on customer service to pay his mortgage works best. Dealers and multiples employ spotty teenagers and use the service manager to defend their errors.
