That would be my guess too. That's why I bought the signal mirror housing as I noticed that there are no side blinkers on the FX.

They have side blinkers, look at the RCL at the side. It has a reflex and a hole for the side bulb in the back. The headlamp has the same configuration.

Well you don't need blinkers if you have sidemarkers. You just need to see the turn signal at a certain angle.

So it may be wise to switch your aftermarket bulbs back to the stock ones before you take your FX in for this fix... You never know what they will replace, and you don't want to your expensive new bulbs begin replaced by the factory issued one...

Just a thought.
