Probably would, though I bought the hitch the same week I bought the car and wasn't part of any forums It was kind of a rush at the time to get everything done.

Re: Installing OEM Hitch Wire Harness

I just found this after market trailer wiring harness , which is supposed to fit our FX35 2008:

http://www.hitchsource.com/wiring-harness-p-33370.html
http://www.curtmfg.com/part/56146

Can anyone confirm if this would be a good aftermarket option, less expensive to the OEM harness ?

I bought an unoriginal wiring harness in Germany - a universal one. The manufacturer swears that it will fit, but my mechanic says it won't since the rear lights is mass-controlled.

Does anyone have a solution to this or installment instruction?
I can't get the pictures to show in this post.

If you can't see the images- do you have 10 posts? You need that to view images.

Also looking for more pics/info on this. Cheapest I see OEM harness is 80 + $20 shipping online...assuming that is run of the mill.
