Ok, the dead pedal was a piece of cake. It's the other ones that I'm having problems with. How do you install the brake and gas pedal? Those didn't seem as obvious as the dead so I could use ay help that you coud provide.
Also, what's everyone using for the brake pedal. I heard that the G35's clutch would work. Is it easy to install?
Strange... went to look for it again, but couldn't find it this time... it's one of the first mods I did on my FX and I remember using the ORG to figure out how to do it... wonder if we might have deleted it by accident when doing one of the conversions... I'll ask Dallace about it...
^^ You don't have to peel the brake pedal to install the new one.. Actually, DON'T peel the brake pedal.. This is what I did for the brake one:
1) Use some WD40 on the sides of the stock brake pedal
2) Heated up the sport pedal (use heatgun or hairdryer) to give more flexibility
3) Tuck in one corner of the sport pedal to the brake pedal (preferably the top left one to be able to pull better and it's closer) and start flexing and tucking tor the right. Use a flat head screwdriver to help on it
4) Keep doing it to the top right corner and go to the other corners from there.
It'll be pretty hard since the sport pedal doesn't flex much but WD40 (or oil) and heating up helps.
I don't remember exactly how was the accelerator but it's almost exactly as the one in those pic. There's a snapping arm under it. You remove that, put in the sport pedal to the other end of the arm and snap back..
Actually I did remove the brake pedal land it wasn't that difficult (taking it off, and then putting it back on. Do I need to leave it on?
That’s when I discovered that sent me two accelerator pedals! I've contacted Swell and ope to have the brake pedal shortly, I decided to skip the gas as it looked to difficult without checking here first!
**** the gas pedal was a bitch! But like you said, once you knew how to do it was a piece of cake.
As far as the guys @ Sewell, they've been nothing but professional, great customer service. They said I would have a brake pedal by this weekend.
Speaking of which, I was able to pop it off (and then back on once I realized I didn't have the right part) quite easily. I'm thinking the difference between rubber and aluminum (or whatever they're made of)

The OEM brake pedal cover is EASY to take off and put back on cause it's all rubber... the sport one's a PAIN cause it barely flexes at all due to the metal on it...
Any word on removing the gas pedal? I need to take it off my 2012 FX35 to install a Sprint Booster. I hear there is a "clip" of some sort, but I don't want o break anything. Thanks
