Tire calculator

I found a website that includes a tire calculator to figure out if a tire size is acceptable compared to a particular vehicle. http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

This says that a Pirelli Ice and Snow 265-70-16 is about as close as you can get to stock and save $50.00 per tire compared to 265-60-18 Blizzaks.

They say that narrower tires are better in the winter. A 16" diameter tire will only look different after you pass someone

16" s probably won't fit on the FX. I remember someone having a certain brand of 18"s not fitting over the brake calipers .
