Skipping Fx35

With 285,000 miles, my 2003 FX35 lost power for a second on a 100 mile drive a couple of days ago. It just did it again three times on a 60 mi drive today. A complete loss of power while driving 70mph for a second on a highway. Felt like a slug of water was running through my fuel system. Afterwards it ran as it always does. Like a dream. Lights stayed on. Anyway be have thoughts as to next steps and what to look for ?
