Does anyone know a reputable online place to buy authentic Infiniti touch up paint? There seems to be so many websites to buy touch-up paint, but its hard to tell what is authentic.

Thanks

I would think you could spot OEM touchup paint.

http://www.infinitipartsusa.com maybe?

If you are trying to repair rock chips I highly recomend looking up Dr. Colorchips on line. they send you a kit with OE paint (you supply the paint code) and it is amazing. it will fill in the chip to the level of the OEM paint. and is 100 times better than a paint stick. I was not sure at first if it would work but said WTH and tried it on my black 09 G37S. it is amazing hardly tell where the chips were. And good thing for me is that I just got a new FX50S too in the same color so I can use it on both cars. wooohooo

I may have to order this aswell. Not looking for perfection here, just a good chip fix.

I just picked up an OEM touch-up pen today when I had the grille replaced (woo-hoo!). Haven't used it yet, but I kind of like the fact that it has the color on one end and the clearcoat on the other. I'll use it this weekend and report in...

The key with touch up is not so much where you get it but HOW you apply it. I get touch up from a local body shop paint supply house..you get twice the quantity for the same price and no shipping. But, the key is putting it on in SMALL amounts, in stages, and NOT all at once. Take a POINTY toothpick and dip it in a little bubble of touch up. I usually blob a bit onto a piece of cardboard. Take the toothpick and place it into the middle of the chip...let it wick down into the chip. Do it only once and let it dry. Repeat a day or 2 later until it is even with the surrounding surface. You can even build it up above the surface and use a chemical leveler like LANGKA (Google it..great product) or wet sand it level...that's the best way to do it. If you don't want to level it, just do it to the surrounding surface and not above.

How has Dr.ColorChip held up since using the product ? Is it durable, did the car require another application ?
