Hi everyone. Has anyone tried the Yokohama AVID ENVigor yet? Did a lot of reading up on the Yokohama Parada’s and Hankook Ventus RH06. I’m in Jersey so with the snow in mind I was going to go with the Parada’s, but then came across a lot of bad feedback regarding the side walls. Don’t get me wrong but I do like feel of the stock 20’s in the summer (minus the pull) and HATE the tires in the winter. So I was leaning towards the Hankook RH06 until I came across the Yokohama AVID ENVigor’s. http://www.tirereview.com/Article/70184 ... vigor.aspx
Wanted to see in any with a FX has any feedback?
Thanks

Looks like these replace the AVID V4S (which is what I have on 18's) according to the article. Tirerack has the V4S on closeout, but does not list the ENVigor in the 18 inch size.
probably what I will replace the V4S' with this fall.

I placed the order on the Yokohama Avid ENVigor from Discount tire direct. I'll give an update soon.
Not sure if anyone else needs them but just in case, they have a deal on the ENVigor's till June 12th. with free shipping.

On my '05 FX the original 265/60R-18 Potenza's lasted 30,000 which were replaced with Cooper Discoverer HTS. Bad choice, they lasted 40,000 but were really hard to balance (two were replaced when new because of this). Even then they had to be Road Force Balanced to get rid of any vibration. At about 15, - 18,000 miles they developed an annoying hum and always made the ride harsh. The only thing good was they were good in snow and ice. At 71,000 miles I went shopping for new tires again and most of what is out there locally in the 265/60R-18 size are truck and suv tires. I was very luck to have a local dealer, Dunn Tire find me four Yokohama Avid V4s in my size. Yokohama no longer makes a tire in that size but they still have a supply in their warehouse. What a difference in ride quality, smoothness and no noise.

Truck11- sorry for the late reply.
So far I'm happy with the Avid EnVigor's. It’s got a pretty good grip on curves (wet or dry weather). But just recently I did notice some squeaking on the front tires when I’m making a hard right of left 20+ mph. Other than that I’m very happy. Now I’m looking forward to the snow.
