OK the FX is now 7 days old, I have 800 miles on it! will have 1000 plus by monday am, I LOVE IT!!!! I am now on a trip from NJ shore to Hershey PA. kids were quiet the whole way thanks to the DVD's in the headrests. The 35 is plenty punchy enough for me. There are a couple of functions I miss from my old VW Touerag. I am not going to list the things I prefer there are to many. However I do miss
a/ Time from start stat on trip computer.
b/ Distance traveled since refuel
c/ various fuel consumption readings, since refuel, since start, lifetime.
d/ Space
e/ The slide out part over the center arm rest.
f/ The small sun visor that is behind the mirror.

Glad to hear you are liking the FX. I'm sure you will find, in due time, that you will like the reliability of the FX better than the Touerag too!

b/ Reset one of the trip odometers? I have a habit of doing this in any vehicle I own, so I know how many miles I've gone since refill.
c/ Fuel consumption calculators become irrelevant if they aren't reset periodically (monthly or sooner). Knowing the fuel consumption average over the life of 30k miles is useless, because its no longer relevant to how much fuel you are using this week. At that point you could stomp on the gas for 3 weeks straight, getting 13 mpg, but the fuel consumption calculation would only drop from lets say 18.5 to 18.4. I don't understand why one would need a lifetime fuel consumption calculator. Okay, I'm done ranting...
