Fog bulb replacement...

I just received the 9006 bulbs to replace my OEM fog lights, and for some reason, I am having a bit of trouble removing the black trim underneath the bumper

Once I removed all the 10mm screws, I could not get the black trim removed. Am I missing something here? I admit I am not too mechanicaly-inclined...I've read all the threads here on this topic....even printed out the instructions on how to remove the trim (only 4 steps listed)....but I still had no luck (it doesn't seem to be that difficult anyway). I know you can also get to the fog light casing by removing the entire front bumper, but it's much more time-consuming.

Any easier ideas on this issue? Or did I totally miss a step?

Thanks folks...
Fernando

I don't think those pieces come off, you just kind of push them to the side (gently) and reach in for the bulbs. Someone will chime in with a better answer .

Re: Fog bulb replacement...

Thanks for your reply Big Turk....bt I think I'll have the Infiniti of Marin do it for $145...worth the expenses and avoids all the hassle of doing it myself.

Re: Fog bulb replacement...

Here is a link how to replace fog light bulb.

Plz be advised~!!!

If you decide to do that from any shop or somewhere.

I think $145 is too much.

I'm pretty sure that you can find some place cheaper than that one~!

Re: Fog bulb replacement...

Thats a how to? That seems mostly like what the first 2 posts here say.

Basically pull off the screws in the trim underneath and reach your hand up there and twist the bulbs out.

Re: Fog bulb replacement...

I found one guy who changed the fog light bulb without any removing process.

He just put his hands through under grille and turn the fog light bulb out.

replace that and put them again.

To change the fog light bulb it may took about 5 mins.
