Navigation - DVD European map

I bought an FX35 but the navigation does not work in Europe. I had to install a separate navigation pack.
1. Does anyone have experience or knows how to use European DVD navigationmaps with the navigation software from the DVD delivered with the car?
2. Would it be possible to use the European maps from Nissans 350Z or the Murano.
3. Can i buy a DVD navigation map for Europe that works with the car's software? If yes, where can I get it?

Many Thx

Hi, best to try the search button before posting a new thread. Navigation and Europe gets loads of hits.

Heres one I found, but it's not good news! ... ion+europe

Reverse-lights converted to Indicator lamps. Stillen stb. Ally pedals + G35 brake pedal. LMS SRI K&N cone. Rear anti-roll bar. Rotorpro drilled and slotted discs f & r.

Hi guys,

i've worked a lot on the navigation DVD files.
Now i can see European maps on the Infiniti original navigation system.
But i still have a problem: i can see the right vehicle position but i can't insert an european destination.
I've created a new custom navigation DVD using the files and folders found on the Renault's DVD.
Now i got a last problem: the firmware (navigation software) on Infiniti GPS reads the addressbook on a folder called: VOREC001.
As you know you can select a location using your voice.
That's the reason why you can't insert a european destination.
The most of XANAVI GPS (Renault, NISSAN PF and Murano...) reads ICODE001 folder to list all streets and cities.
So... if someone got a XANAVI european navigation DVD with two folders called: VOREC001 and VOICE001 i can give you a custom european DVD.
If you can help me in this research we can find the solution.

Stay tuned... i'm still working
