Nav-TV and Bluetooth Install

I want to thank all you guys for posting how-tos on the board. I would have never tried these mods without them!
I did the nav-tv mod, nav while driving, and bluetooth...over the last few months...

What do you guys think?

I'm running the A/V signal throught the rear dvd as a second input and the rear dvd as the first.

I wish I could loose the exposed wires though...Any ideas how I could integrate the audio and video into the rear dvd without pluging wires into the back?

Good stuff. Only way to really get those jacks out of the front of the DVD player is to open it up and solder to the inside of the jacks.

Thanks...that's what I was thinking. I'll have to start looking for a spare dvd player to fool around with.

Nice job! Is that the MK6100 Parrot? Do you use it for music streaming and how does it sound in the FX? Howard

...it is the MK6100. The bluetooth music streaming is ok. Alot better than an fm modulator but not as good as cables. It seems as if it's really set up for voice because music is distorted at mid-high level volumes...
Glad I got it though....I luv my bluetooth.

Did you use the special harness with your Parrot? Or did you splice the lines in?

Edit: Can you also take a picture of your Parrot? I checked some info on the web and it looks pretty darned nice!

...I used the harness. It made the install very easy. I probably would not do the install without it. It's a great product. It completely intergrates the bluetooth to the stereo (ie. mutes music for phone calls, phone calls in complete stereo). I'll post a few more pictures later.
Thanks
