Get a good set of winter tires and you should be fine. The FX is very well balanced (almost 50/50 front to rear) so it's easy to keep it under control if you have a good set of winters on.
You need to be very cautious, while driving in the snow/cold is not recommended on a RWD vehicle, you must invest in the best set of winter tires you could get. Also, a winter season in Minneapolis lasts over 5 months.
Driving in the snow requires some experience, also driving thru slush, but the big issue will be driving and hitting black ice patches, or simply when the road is a huge ice rink.
I was reading a trial recently where two Nissan models were tested in the snow. One with for wheel drive and normal tires, one with two wheel drive and winter tires.
The two wheel drive with winter tires performed better in the snow.
In practice four wheel drive is not a huge advantage in the winter unless you need to drive on steep hills, after all a wheel being driven doesn't magically make the tire grip the road.
